Our Team
Tina Cheng (She/Her) PT, DPT
I’m Tina Cheng—a pelvic floor physical therapist, hands-on healer, and mom who knows firsthand that the postpartum journey is anything but easy.
For over 10 years, I’ve specialized in pelvic health, holding my PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitionor Certification) and continually expanding my skills through advanced training in visceral mobilization, myofascial release techniques and manual lymphatic drainage. My approach has always been rooted in using skilled, hands-on techniques to address pain and restore comfort—helping people reconnect with their bodies and feel like themselves again.
But it wasn’t until I became a mom myself that my passion took on a whole new direction. After experiencing the ups and downs of breastfeeding—including painful clogged ducts—I realized how much more support mothers truly need. That “aha” moment inspired me to create a space where moms could receive not just guidance, but direct, hands-on care to ease discomfort and keep their breastfeeding journey going strong.
Today, I blend my decade of clinical expertise with my personal experience as a mom to support women through one of the most tender, transformative seasons of life. Whether it’s relieving breast discomfort, preventing complications like mastitis, or simply making the feeding journey less stressful, my goal is to help you feel cared for, comfortable, and empowered.
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me playing and chasing after my little one, exploring NYC’s hidden gems, or diving into psychology books and podcasts to prepare myself for the toddler tantrum years.
Because moms deserve more than just “getting by”—they deserve comfort, healing, and support.
Megan Lavroff (She/Her) PT, DPT
I’m Megan Lavroff. I am a physical therapist. I’ve specialized in pelvic floor and orthopedics and worked with the prenatal postpartum population for the last 7+ years.
Through my own journey feeding my baby, I developed a special interest in the lactation world.
As a physical therapist, I’ve trained in craniosacral therapy (level 1), visceral manipulation, and myofascial techniques.
In late January 2024, I welcomed my daughter. My goal was to breastfeed my daughter, and I was fortunate enough to have that experience….but not without some bumps in the road.
With the help of my lactation consultant, we navigated an initial painful latch, oversupply and more painful latching, transition back to work and pumping, strategies traveling, and gradual weaning…lactation was far more complicated than I could have anticipated.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I thought I had breastfeeding all down. Then it was time to introduce some pumping. I was spending some time away from my baby for the first time, and very quickly developed my first clogged duct. My supply dropped, I panicked. I was in some pain and now worried about developing full blown mastitis. I googled of course (and eventually did the right thing and consulted with a professional ) but it was hard to come by techniques for immediate relief.
Fast forward to a few months later, Tina Cheng came to me with an idea to take the manual skill set and intuition we have and apply it to this specific issue. We want to offer safe and gentle lymphatic and fascial mobilization for pain relief during lactation.
I feel so grateful for the resources and support I had in feeding my baby, and I hope to be part of the team in your lactation journey.
